48th HP Police Sports & Duty Meet 22-24 Nov. 2015 at Dharmshala
This year 48th HP Police Sports & Duty Meet was held at D/Shala Distt. Kangra w.e.f. 22-24 November 2015. Sh. R.S Ojha IPS Addl.DG/AP&T was Chief Guest for opening and Sh. Sanjay Kumar IPS DGP/HP for Closing Ceremony. Central Unit was become New All Round Champion of this year.
There was Cultural Events also. This year S/R team not taken part in this Competition and C/U become again winner of cultural Event.
The Penal of Judges for the Cultural event was very specific i.e. Sh. Mujtwa Husain ( Renowned Flute Player--- Bansuri VadaK) was one of the member of Judges penal along with Dr. Suresh Sharma, Professor of Music in B.Ed College D/Shala, Raju Bagga Famous (Tablavadak) of HP. Sh. Karnail Rana Himachali Folk Singer was also Present there. Mr. Rana Presented few famous Songs from his album on First day of the Function Whereas Sh. Husain and Dr. Sharma Presented their items on next day of the function. Chief Gust for the Cultural Events were Sh. Ojha, And Sh. Sanjay Kumar First and 2nd days respectively.
Chief Gusts and Judges were honored with Himachali Showal & Toppi by the Organized Committee
Sh. Kushal Sharma IPS SP Human Rights was Chairman & I, Amrit Kumar Sharma was Member for Organizing committee of the Programme.
I was also the Member for Opening & Closing Ceremony for the Meet with Sh. Diwakar Sharma IPS SP/CO 5th IRBn., Sh. Rajesh Verma HPS- SDPO/Dy.SP Kangra.
On opening -Tibetian Group, Jagori Troop, 2nd IRBn. troop and Gaddi dance were preformed while on closing -2nd IRBn.troop, Devinder Shashti of Bilaspur CTS Unit, L/C Rita( Rectt) performed there items. Sh. Balbir Thakur IPS SP Bilaspur danced with Pahari Nati Group and later on W/DGP/ADGP/IGP/NR/ SP Khushal /SP Gandhi/ SP Sunil Kumar and others joined the Natti including my self.
at the end Laser show was organized by the Meet Committee which was fantastic.
Sh. G.D. Bhargva, IPS IG/NR was organizing Secretory for this Meet.
I was Anker for all event for this meet
This Sports & Duty Meet ends with great joy and spark
